Princess and Missy’s Magical Adventure: The Crystal HeartMichelle Nicole Martin
Zoey: “I loved this book- the dog Princess was so cute and got lost from her parents. She becomes homeless and meets a magical butterfly in a special forest. I wish all the pictures were in color – I wanted to color them in. I learned that people are very special even if they don’t have homes or parents and we shouldn’t be mean to them, but help them. I liked the game at the end of the book as my mom and my Nana and I talk about what is real and what is not.” Nana: “Princess and Missy’s Magical Adventure: The Crystal Heart” is an excellent book to teach children that some don’t have what we have and we should always try to help them. It also helped us talk to Zoey about what was fiction or real. She’s at an age where other kids question Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and Tooth Fairy. |
