“The Tickle Tree” has poem jokes.  They are funny and cool.  Some poems are short and some are long, but they are all funny.  My favorite poem is “Fear.”  I like it because it has a spider in it.  I didn’t know I liked poetry, and that poems could be funny, until I read this book.  I also liked most of the pictures, but I thought some of them should be more colorful.  If you decide not to read the entire book, make sure you read “No Pants,” “Hot Date,” “Love,” and “The Tickle Tree.”

I recommend “The Tickle Tree” to everyone— kids and adults.  I think teachers should read this book to their students. It will help them learn that poems can be fun.
