“Rain Brings Frogs: A Little Book of Hope” is about a little boy who always sees the positive in things.  For instance, when his sister complains about how ugly her scarf is, Nate says “It’s so warm!”

Max:

“The boy in the book found good things about everything.  His mom didn’t like rain but the boy liked it because it made frogs come out.  The boy had on his rain boots and jumped in puddles.  That is fun to do!  I wish we saw frogs when it rained.  There were six of them by him!  The frogs and rain were my favorite parts.”

Parent’s comments:

“Rain Brings Frogs: A Little Book of Hope” is such a positive, uplifting book about always seeing the bright side of things.  Nate, the main character in the book, is so refreshingly optimistic.  Maryann Cocca-Leffler’s book is a wonderful one to share with the young child in your life!
