This story is about a little tiger named Baeoh who was born without stripes, but wants to be a three-striped tiger.  He leaves home to find his destiny.  He meets a tiger named Jahngsoo.  Jahngsoo trains him to be a three-striped tiger.  Baeoh learns the lessons taught to him and eventually starts to earn his stripes.  One day he hears the jackals are trying to take over the tiger colony.  He goes back home to help them.  When he gets there, the jackals come out of the forest to fight.  Baeoh tells them “the greatest leadership is to use our strength to help those weaker than ourselves.  We must learn to live with the jackals in harmony.”  Because of his wisdom, and courage, Beaoh earns his third stripe and becomes the leader of his colony.

I like this story because it has tigers in it.  I recommend “The Legend of Baeoh” to kids.  I learned that courage is about you believing in yourself.  I also learned that talking can help you solve problems.  You do not need to fight.
