“Let’s Get Ready for Kindergarten! / A Prepararse Para Kindergarten!” is the Spanish/English Edition of Stacey Kannenberg’s kindergarten preparation book.  The book presents various skills that a child should know in order to be adequately prepared for Kindergarten.

Cayden:  “I liked doing this book.  I knew a lot of the things in it but I learned some new things too.  I learned that the alphabet in Spanish has some different letters.  I learned some new Spanish words too.  I liked that I could use one of those markers that comes off on some of the pages in the book.”

“Let’s Get Ready for Kindergarten! / A Prepararse Para Kindergarten!” by Stacey Kannenberg covers pretty much all of the academic basics that a child should be familiar with before attending Kindergarten.  I think that this book would be especially important to those children who have not attended a preschool program or for those who just need a little more practice in reinforcing what they were taught.  As the book is bilingual, it may also be useful to those wanting to learn a second language since the words for basic concepts are presented in both languages.
