Pinkalicious: Tickled Pink
Madison: “Pinkalicious went to the library and got a funny joke book. She took her book to one of her friends and told lots of jokes that were funny! Tiffany said “prove it!” They both told jokes. Tiffany’s joke wasn’t funny. Pinkalicious’ joke was very funny! Pinkalicious returned her funny book after tickling everyone.” “I like the book. I want to hear another story. It was so much fun, can you read it again? I liked the pictures. I liked the jokes. I want you to read it again.” Mom: The jokes in this book actually made me laugh. They sounded like something my kids would come up with or enjoy laughing over. The book had some chuckles but also a cute story about conflict and adversity. Pinkalicious agrees to a harmless joke off under peer pressure and learns that being herself is the best thing she can do! Tiffany learns that being mean was not a nice thing to do to a fellow classmate and friend. In the end everyone is able to laugh and have fun together. We enjoyed reading this book and I feel it is correctly targeted at children ages 3-7. Children will easily be able to relate to the story in “Pinkalicious: Tickled Pink,” while enjoying it as well. Pinkalicious is a fun character that little girls just love! |
