Although this is a funny spin on “The Night Before Christmas,” it was not a book that young children would understand. The pictures were colorful, but it was meant either for adults or older children.

Zoey: 

“I had a hard time reading this book. I didn’t understand the words or why people were doing bad things to this lady. The pictures were bright, but they made the people look mean.”

Nana:

“Lawyer’s Week Before Christmas” would be a good book for an adult or someone who worked in a lawyer’s office, but it was hard to read and understand for someone Zoey’s age.

Editor’s note:

 The accompanying information indicated this book was Juvenile Fiction but no age group. Amazon.com indicates age group as 4 - 8 so we assigned the book to a child in the middle of the age group. Parents need to be made aware this book may not be appropriate for this age group.
