Join the Fisher-Price laugh, smile and learn animals as they enjoy a day outdoors and learn their shapes!  This adorable interactive flap book teaches children ages 6 months and older their shapes.  Children will find a window that when the flap is lifted shows the square shape.  They will bounce with a soccer ball, lifting the flap to show a circle!  They will discover and egg, the flap will show an oval.  Children will also learn the rectangle, diamond, triangle and star in the creative interactive pages.

Hailey’s thoughts:

“Doggy, bee, window, square.  Bee fly.  Doggy, play ball!  Ball bounce.  Circle!
Frog, ribbit.  Doggy eating, drink, bunny rabbit and food!”
“Green triangle.” (points to each of the four triangles that make up the diamond)
“Twinkle star!”
“The end!” (Closed book at the end)

Mom’s thoughts:

I love this book!  The illustrations are fun and the colors are vibrant.  Both my daughters (ages 4 and 2) loved opening the flaps.  My oldest daughter would try to read the words for each shape because she knew what each shape was.  Hailey had lots to say about this book, and sat still for multiple reads.  Hailey has a hard time sitting still, so for me this is a huge plus.  I also watch my nephew who is one-year-old.  He was very interested in opening the flaps and pointing to the pictures in this book.  The book was a hit for all ages and we had an enjoyable experience reading it together.  I would highly recommend “Fisher-Price: Shapes All Around!”for kids age 6 months to 3 years who are learning their shapes and colors.
