“A Day on the Farm: Exploring Animals” is an interactive board book that takes a look at various farm animals.  We learn the animals’ different actions, the sounds they make, and how they feel.

Max:  “I like books where there are things to feel in them.  My favorite was how the pig felt and I liked the fluffy sheep too!  My favorite animal sound was the rooster saying ‘cock-a-doodle-doo.’”

“A Day on the Farm: Exploring Animals” by Jodi Huelin is geared for ages 6-months and up and I would say it would probably be enjoyed up to about age 3.  For the younger ones it would be a great book to teach animal sounds and colors.  It is a basic book, but its interactive format makes it an appealing choice!
