The story is about a Raptor’s life.  It explains how a raptor survived, what it ate, and how they got their food.  It also talks about their enemies and the dangers they faced.  It also talks about mating practices.  Deinonychus is the character goes through a lot of dangerous adventures. He fights predators; he escapes a fire, has babies, and fights another raptor and becomes the leader of the pack.

I liked the story in “Raptor: The Life of a Young Deinonychus” because it was about raptors. I enjoyed the fighting and when he escapes the fire.  The story was exciting. I like the pictures because they were colorful, but I was disappointed because the pictures of the raptors were not like the ones I have seen on the internet and movies.
