"Rio: Greetings from Rio!" is a great adventure with Blu, a rare Macaw, who is taken from his home as a baby and is raised in Minnesota. Travel with Blu as he learns about a different world. With his friends he goes into the rainforest, tries to learn to fly and finally ends up back home.

Zoey: This was a fun book to read. Blu is a Macaw and he decides he doesn’t want to be locked in a cage anymore so he escapes with help from his friends. He goes to the rainforest, where he sees snakes, spiders, and frogs. When you are a cage you don’t get to see this. In this book I got to learn about different animals and how they live. The pictures were big and colorful. Finally, after all his traveling Blu gets back to Rio just in time for a big carnival.

Nana: A great book for children to learn about animals and their habitat. The colors in the pictures were bright, big and a mixture of animated and real life. Zoey loved learning about new animals and different parts of the world.
