This is a very cute tale of Freddy and wanting to get away from his bossy, controlling sister. He dreams of where he can go to just relax some - little does he know he is going somewhere that is nothing like any place he has ever been to before.

Zoey:

“Brothers can be annoying and Freddy just keeps making problems all the time for his family, at school and with his friends. He doesn’t like his sister who is always telling on him and getting him into trouble. He just wants her to go away! He gets kidnapped by aliens and goes to the planet Flurb. He has a great time even if it is strange and the aliens make Freddy King! That makes his sister really mad and then his parents show up! This is a fun book to read and I think what it really says- be nice to your family and like everyone. Some people don’t have what you have – be thankful you have a family."

Nana:

Zoey loved “Freddy! King of Flurb.” She has a brother who is older who makes her mad and is always telling on her. She learned that regardless of who is in your family and what they do, you still should love them. She decided to wish her brother away!
