Max’s comments:

“I like Sid.  I watch him on TV.  I like when Sid and his dad planted a tree in their yard.  We plant trees in our yard too.  I think the ones that we planted were a little bigger than the one that they planted though.  I liked when they were on the playground talking about dirt.  I liked the jokes at the end of the book.”

Parent’s comments:

“Sid the Science Kid: Earth Day Fun” is a Level One- Beginning Reading book in the “I Can Read!” series of books.  I think this book may be a little challenging for a new reader, but I do think that any fan of Sid will enjoy the book whether it is read to them or whether they are able to read it by themselves.
