Mr. Walrus is a bus driver.  He has a busload of different kinds of animals.  They are all ready to get to different places.  They tell him to hurry up.  He speeds around curves, flies over hills, and zooms over bumps.

He goes through a zoo.  Isaac loved the large snake that landed on top of the bus.  He goes through a fair so quickly that popcorn goes everywhere.  There is a picture of a grandmother hanging onto the bus for dear life.  There is a picture of an ice-cream sundae on top of the bus.  Both Parish and Isaac loved the picture of the huge plate of spaghetti that the animals gathered around to eat.  We even had to have spaghetti for dinner that night, just like the animals did.

There is a clock with running shoes on that zips through each scene in “Mr. Walrus and the Old School Bus.”  Isaac just heard me playing the CD that goes along with this book while I am typing this review.  He came in the room to dance to the song.  Then he demanded the book.

“Parish, did you like this book?”
“Yes!  I liked the snake, the popcorn, the ice-cream…”

“Which is your favorite picture?”
“I liked the popcorn the best.”

“Do you want to keep this book or give it away?”
“I want to keep it.”
