Sadie’s Sore Throat (Dr. Hippo Story), M.D. Cayden: “Why does she have a tummy ache?” Cayden: “Why does she take her temperature in her mouth? We take ours in our ear.” Cayden: “I’ve never heard of purple polka dot popsicles before!” Cayden: “Why doesn’t she want to go to the doctor?” Cayden: “Why would they see butterflies in her ears?” Cayden: When they are reading another Dr. Hippo book in the waiting room: “We have that book too!! Look mom! It’s the same one we have!” Max: “Stickers!” Cayden: “Yum! I like ice cream!” Cayden: “My favorite part of the book was when she was in the doctor’s office and they were checking her ears, belly and throat. Her throat was the most important job of all for the doctor because it doesn’t feel good and she couldn’t swallow anything.” Parent’s comments: “Sadie’s Sore Throat” is another great Dr. Hippo story.
