The Secret Zoo: Traps and Specters
The main plot in “The Secret Zoo: Traps and Specters” by Bryan Chick is that the scouts try to keep the Secret Zoo a secret from everyone else that isn’t a scout. The Secret Zoo is underground. Noah, (one of the scouts) is freaked out because DeGraff, (someone trying to sneak into the zoo) has almost none of his face since he is part shadow and part human. The scouts are able to keep the zoo a secret. The author did a great job. This book is written for third graders. My favorite part is when Noah likes a friend, Sloana, as more than a friend. I want the author to make more books like this. It was a great book. The book is a little long though; I would love the author to make a book with a little less pages and chapters. I think I am missing something because I did not read the other books the author has written. I hope to read all the other books. Mom might give me a book and say read this. She said, “The Secret Zoo sounds like a great book.”
I have a great thing to say to the author, you’re a great person to me. I have read nothing like this book. It will take all my might to give this book to my library. I love this book because it has animals. I had a lot of fun reading this. I say that it is an awesome book. This is an amazing story. It has amazing characters. My favorite one is Blizzard. Blizzard gets shot in the end. I was sad for Noah because he loved Blizzard. Maybe Blizzard lives or maybe not, I can’t wait to find out in the next book. I love when Little Big Horn and Blizzard try to save the scouts and the others. They have a lot of adventures in this book. I can tell that Ella likes the animals because she was telling Noah to not get the animals because the cops were coming, and they could get caught. Morgan and Ella were trying to protect the animals when they were getting shot. They were crying when they saw the animals.
“The Secret Zoo: Traps and Specters” by Bryan Chick is a book I will recommend to my friends. I think they will love it too.
