This book is written for teens that want to learn more about money -- how to spend it, and how to save it. The book is full of information that every teen should know for his or her future planning.

The author gives a plan on how to be financially secure rather than always having to beg for money from parents.  She covers the 60/40 principle in easy terms making it very understandable.  The illustrations are very helpful and make the reading of a dry subject much more enjoyable.

I like the hands-on experience that I can get doing the exercises in the book. The step-by-step process is simple and the best part for me is to know is that I have to start saving for my retirement now. It’s hard for me to imagine being old and retired, but after reading Ms. Bolon’s book, “Cash, Cars & College,” I know that I have to start now if I don’t want to work for the rest of my life.
