Filled with heartwarming color illustrations by Joyce Wheeler, the book “Walking with Maga” is a beautiful and warm book excellent for reading aloud.

Told from a child's point of view, it captures a young girl's moments spent walking with her grandmother.

On the walks together, the little girl and her grandmother take notice and enjoy the little things in life. They spot snails and flowers, and they have talks, sharing their favorite things in life. They stop to rest, and gaze at the clouds, telling one another what shapes they see. They visit friends like Mr. Anton who shows the little girl how to hear the ocean in a seashell.

Maga and the little girl make memories together during these walks, and enjoy each other’s company.

“Walking with Maga” celebrates the time spent between a girl and her grandmother. This is a calm and relaxing book. Great for a bed time story.
