“The Berenstain Bears’ Valentine Party” by Jan & Mike Berenstain is about a Valentine’s Day party at Bear Country School.  Sister Bear is in Teacher Jane’s class.  Teacher Jane has hidden Valentine’s Day surprises all around the classroom.  After the bears find the surprises, they give each other cards.   You find the surprises and cards on each page by lifting a flap.

Mom:  “What did you think about this book?”
Brooke:  “I really like lift-a-flap books.  I loved the colorful pictures, but I did not like the mean valentines.”

Parent’s comments:

Brooke really liked this book mainly due to it being a lift-a-flap book.  She has always loved these!  The only things she did not like were the mean valentine cards, but she did laugh at them while reading the story.

“The Berenstain Bears’ Valentine Party” by Jan & Mike Berenstain was a fun book to read!
