She Doesn’t Want the Worms/ Ella no quiere los gusanos
“She Doesn’t Want the Worms/ Ella no quiere los gusanos” is written in English and Spanish and includes a pronunciation guide in the beginning. Max’s comments: “I think the person wrote the English part of the book using a crayon because that is what it looks like. The other words look like normal words in books, those are the Spanish ones. My favorite part of the book was the last page with the plate with everything on it. I liked when the book said to go on the computer and see if there was real food on the plate. That was fun!” Parent’s comments: My son enjoyed “She Doesn’t Want the Worms/ Ella no quiere los gusanos” and liked the “secret” ending that we had to look up online at the publisher’s website. The only thing is that it did take a little bit to figure out where to go on the website to see the answer to the question on the last page of the book. I thought by clicking on the picture of the book itself on the website that it would lead us to the information, but that was not the case. I think if it was me, I would make it a little more clear where to go on the website. |
